Valdres Featured in Star Tribune

We are excited to see Valdres featured in the Star Tribune!

Valdres, a contemporary Nordic home, was selected as an AIA Minnesota Home of the Month. Our client, an accomplished and well-traveled geologist, desired to make a sculptural statement within this wide-open landscape, referencing his interest in geologic precision and geometric refinement. He envisioned simple, pure lines defined by high-quality materials and a meticulous level of craft between adjoining surfaces. He desired the exterior to be both quiet and bold at the same time. The interior needed to be filled with natural light and plenty of neutral space to display his expanding art collection.
