2025 Office Events & Updates

This year we welcomed four new staff members to our growing office, participated in the 2025 Homes By Architects Tour, and joined fellow professionals to speak on adaptability in the custom home industry.

Wisconsin Woods Residence featured on the Homes by Architects Tour

This fall, our latest Northwoods project was featured virtually on the 2025 Homes by Architects Tour run by AIA Minnesota. At Wisconsin Woods Residence, our clients had outgrown their beloved one-room cabin and desired a larger lake home. The original cabin was relocated on the site further inland, and a new home was designed in that location with modern amenities while still maintaining a cozy cabin feel. See more of this project here.

Chris Strom Speaks on ‘Adaptability in Action’ Panel

In November, Chris Strom joined O’Hara Interiors and Lelch AV for the third installment of their popular panel series exploring industry challenges and opportunities. Hosted with Artful Living at the O’Hara family home, the panel consisted of CSA’s Chris Strom (AIA), Coldwell Banker Realty’s Mya Honeywell, and Streeter Custom Homes CEO Bill Costello. New Team Members at CSA

Chris Bach joined us this May as a Project Manager. As a licensed architect with a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee, Chris’ design perspective is shaped by a rich and varied background including experience working in landscape, and graphic design.

We also welcomed our new office administrator, Elena Kehew to CSA this summer!

Elena recently graduated from St. OIaf College with a Bachelor of Arts in both Studio Art and Mathematics. Her experience at a liberal arts school helped develop a passion for interdisciplinary work and collaboration, and her academic journey has been supplemented with a semester in Copenhagen studying architecture and design, and a month in New York City exploring the professional art world.

The fall brought more new faces to the office, with Senior Project Manager Tyler Hillger and Project Manager Eden Garton.

Tyler joins us with his 20+ years of experience in residential design. A licensed architect, Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies (BSAS) and a Master of Architecture (M. Arch) from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a portion of his master’s program spent studying in London. In 2017 he was selected for the AIA Leadership Forum, which develops and fosters leadership skills. He also provides additional expertise in areas of lighting and cost analysis.

Eden is a licensed architect specializing in residential design since 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Design in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University of Minnesota. Earlier in her career, Eden gained experience in commercial architecture and as an owner’s representative, broadening her understanding of the design and construction process. In 2022, she was awarded the Architect Registration Exam scholarship from AIA MN.
